It took me a minute to get used to how J.Patts writes black people. Pop-Pop Broson was talking about Starbucks in  and referred to Frappucinos as “Them Frappucino shits they sell”.  And I was like “naw,that’s racist! What black people talk like that?!” Then I remembered they’re in  D.C and I’m in St.Louis. A whole different dialect.
